Watching reruns of Castle makes me really want to use Stana Katic as a PB, but I have a feeling she'd end up far too much like her character and I kind of hate when people use a PB from a popular show to play a character just like the one they portray on screen, sooo that'd make a complete hypocrite, right? :P

In other news, I am really tired of not having enough time for RP lately. :| I've decided to start taking my Nuvagil again. I'm hoping the apparent side effects last time were more due to the sinus infection I had at the time.

So far, so good. No headache, no nausea. I could definitely use a trip to the chiropractor, but that's another story.

After this week, I have two weeks in a row where I have both of my days off back to back, so I'm hoping I can come off of hiatus then and get caught up on things. Granted, I'm heading to see crystalship the second week of October for 11 days, so that'll be another mini hiatus, but psssh. I still think it's a good plan.

Alan smiled as he fingered the strap to Becca's bikini top.

"Is this new?"

The question was largely rhetorical, but he couldn't help thinking she looked fantastic. Then again, Alan generally always thought so.

He lips pressed to the skin just above her shoulder blade and his smile grew, becoming more of a mischievous smirk instead.

"How long did you say we had?" he murmured, his tone low and husky as his lips trailed upward, brushing over the sensitive skin on her neck.

"Awhile," she breathed, obviously distracted as she turned toward him and a heartbeat later, their lips were fused together and Becca's bikini was finding a place on the floor.

The beach would still be there in an hour or so, right?

It's that time again where I pimp some games. :D

onceuponadream via onceuponamodly - this is a reincarnation game where every character is the reincarnation of a person found in written fiction (literature, myths, fairy tales, even comics). Characters have incredibly vivid dreams of their past lives and are linked together by a network of journals. This one is my creation, so I am especially fond of it.

lifeasweknowit via lifeaswemodit - this is just a basic PB game that has been running more like an awesome group PSL than anything else, but it's a lot of fun. It's split into regions rather than cities, so there's a lot of choice in locations to place your characters in. Right now, there are a fair amount of lines that need filled by various people, especially for male characters since 3 of our locations have a really bad male to female ration, so we would especially love to have you if you have a muse for a boy. This one was started by my friend Cindy, but i've recently become her co-mod after the old one left.

itwillhaveblood via itwillhavemods - an AU MWPP game that is awesome with the plot and has a ton of active, friendly players. I really love this game a lot and so you all should join! Particularly if you wanted to fill a line for any of my five pups there. ;)

wished via wishedmod - an AU 7th Year game that is really getting into the big time plot. Things are gearing up for the big final battle scene, so it's an awesome time to join. Again, especially if you're planning to give me some plotty awesomeness. ;)

openbooks via openbooksmod - a fairy tale/literary type game. I only have one character at this game (weird for me, I know), but I'm pimping all the games I'm in, so you get linked to this one, anyway.

morana_hill via morana_hill - a game with an interesting premise that I just joined. Basically, you wake up one morning in this strange little town which you can never leave and are soon greeted by someone who gives you the basics on where you are and what your new job is. It's a really interesting premise.

So, yeah, that's all the games I am in. You should all join them, because they're awesome. :P

THE PREMISE Have you ever dreamed you were someone else and it was so vivid that, for a moment, you were convinced you were that person. It couldn't be, of course. That person isn't even real and dreams are just dreams, right? Or, maybe not. A series of people, all around the world, are experiencing that very thing and, as it turns out, there's much more to it than it being just a dream. Those people are all reincarnations of fictional characters - imaginary people from literature, mythology, nursery rhymes, fairy tales, etc. They don't have conscious memories of their past lives, but, boy, do they dream about them. Some of them even have special abilities related to their former selves. The dreams can be good or bad, but the one thing they all are is vivid. Those affected might feel like they're going crazy at first, at least until they begin to discover that there are more people like them, that these aren't just random, recurring dreams.

Crystal and I still really, really want to open this game, but we need a few more apps before we can do so.

On the coast of Oregon, expertly hidden from Muggle view, Eligere Institute has been training young wizarding minds and preparing them for their adult lives for generations. Unlike some other magical schools, this one is quite exclusive, however. Since it's founding, Eligere has only accepted students from the finest families, students whose bloodlines were proven along with their capacity for academic excellence. This is a school for the Pureblood Elite.

Things run differently in the society of these witches and wizards. Many of the old ways are still embraced. Magic is not seen as good or evil, dark or light. Marriages are still arranged for many of these children - something which the school both supports and encourages. Boys are expected to pursue rewarding and lucrative careers while furthering their family's good name. Girls are expected to play their part in this, learning to be good wife, to run a proper household, and they are, of course, expected to marry a proper man and do their part to give him heirs.

We find ourselves, now, almost halfway through the 2009-2010 term at the Eligere Institute of Magical Edification, where we will follow the lives of the students in the upper grades - what most Muggles would call "high school." Our students are in grades nine through twelve, at ages ranging from fourteen to eighteen. Freshmen are growing acclimated their new surroundings, adjusting to the more rigorous academic of the upper Institute.. Juniors in the arranged marriage program and preparing themselves for married life by sharing a suite with their intended mates. Sophomores are either dreading or looking forward to that transition, unless they are one of the few who have not been promised to another. Seniors are preparing to take their last exams, being wooed by prospective future employers, planning their weddings and generally preparing to enter the real world.

Eligere is a role playing game set in real time that focuses on the social interaction the students in the upper institute. A majority of our students will be in the arranged marriage program and those matches will be chose for them by the mods at random. Will those random pairings win out or will some of our students rebel and find love elsewhere? That is what we're here to find out...
